Supernatural Every Day
- By Heidi Swanson - really good, easy, imaginative recipes.

The Best Veggie Burgers on the Planet
- Joni Newman is a genius! Her Baba Ghanoush burger is worth the price of the book.

Tassajara Cooking
- This 1973 gem by Edward Espe Brown doesn't as much contain recipes, but down to earth information and knowledge of ~how ~ to cook. What vegetable is ripe when, what parts are good for eating raw, cooked, broth, how to use vegetables together. A very simple and important approach. Full of hows and whys, not really fully of measurements. This cooking book gives the reader the freedom & confidence to explore and learn. Awesome!

Feast from the garden
- A great cookbook for fast and clean tasting fresh food. New ideas on root veggies and geat grain dishes. I never knew there could be so many great recipes for my favorite old meals and go vegan at the same time! And not to mention the sweets. I don't feel deprived of my sweets any longer. Thanks Vila SpiderHawk!

I don't think I can choose just one!
- Anything by Her Majesties: Isa Chandra Moskowitz, Bryanna Clark Grogan, and Robin Robertson. Also am loving Cookin' Crunk!

My favorite vegetarian cookbook
- "Heaven's banquet" by Miriam K Hospodar -- love it for a couple of reasons 1. We are not vegans, and do not eat eggs. I found it very difficult to find good recipes for baking that did not use eggs and avoided milk substitutes, this book has a cheese cake recipe to die for :) 2. The recipes do not use onion and garlic which we avoid for religious reasons

Vegan Planet
- My favorite and most used is "Vegan Planet." I also like Cooking Light's Vegetarian Cookbook, which has some wonderful vegan recipes too.
- —Wendyld
Favorite vegetarian cookbook

"Kristin Jarden's Vegetarian Cookbook"
- "Kristin Jarden's Vegetarian Cookbook" is my favorite. It is a combination of traditional North Indian and Western, with soups, eggless cakes, gourmet and simple recipes - all delicious. There are cooking tips and the book is also just fun and interesting to read. With well organized chapters and colorful details about India. The author is from New Zealand. My favorite vegetarian cookbook for sure.
