One Pot Crock Pot Rice Pilaf

Get your rice, veggies and protein all in one dish in this one pot easy vegetarian and vegan crock pot meal.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups seitan, cut into pieces
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup green peas
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine
  • 2 1/2 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 3/4 cups rice

I should have known before I started. This recipe has no herbs or spices. Salt and pepper would be a good place to start but once the food was cooked, nothing I tried could make it palatable. I ended up throwing it away.
