Vegan Coconut Frosting Recipe

Use coconut milk to make an simple vegan coconut frosting. With just three simple ingredients, this is a quick and easy dairy-free and egg-free vegan frosting recipe.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk

Preparation:

Whisk or blend together all ingredients until icing is smooth and creamy, adding more powdered sugar or liquid as needed.

Fluffiest and creamiest frosting!, Guest BLDonahue

I just happened to have a can of coconut milk handy and was making a vegan cake for my daughter's birthday so I thought I would give this a try. I would use this again and again. The coconut taste is very subtle, so this can be used on any type of cake. The consistency is fluffy and creamy, but not too sweet. I will be adding some shredded coconut flakes on top. I love this frosting!!
