Vegan Double Chocolate Cake Recipe

This vegan double chocolate cake is a vegan cake recipe that will satisfy the sweet tooth of even the most discriminating chocoholic! With both cocoa and chocolate chips, you could even frost this vegan chocolate cake with a chocolate frosting to make it a triple chocolate cake.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 tbsp vinegar
  • 5 tbsp melted margarine
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips

Preparation:

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, and baking soda. Add the vanilla, vinegar, margarine. Add the water and mix well.

Pour into a 9x9 inch baking pan, and sprinkle the chocolate chips on top.

Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Enjoy!

Double Chocolate Cake Success!, Guest Lacto Vegeatrian Guy

First cake I have ever made by myself. Tastes brilliant! I also added chocolate chips to the dough which made for a nice chocolate chip crunching cake. This cake goes well for tea. So good only 2 slices left!
