Veggie burgers are so common these days you can find them in most grocery store freezers and restaurants. But why buy them when you can easily make your own? This easy recipe for vegetarian tofu veggie burgers is easy to make and great for an everyday lunch, dinner, potluck or vegetarian barbecue. Enjoy!
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound firm tofu, drained and mashed
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 tbsp wheat germ
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- dash of salt and pepper, to taste
- oil for frying
Preparation:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl, except oil. Form into patties. Fry in oil over medium high heat until the patties are brown and crisp.
