Ingredients:
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup nutritional yeast
- 1/2 tsp salt
- dash pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried basil (optional)
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 1 pound firm or extra firm tofu, pressed
- oil for frying
Preparation:
In a medium bowl, combine flour, nutritional yeast, salt, pepper, garlic and basil.
Place the soy sauce in a separate small bowl.
Dip the tofu in the soy sauce, and then in the flour mixture. Fry in oil until golden brown. Enjoy your quick fried tofu!
