Ingredients:
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 2/3 cup white vinegar
- 1 16 ounce can green beans
- 1 16 ounce can garbanzo beans (chickpeas)
- 1 16 ounce can red kidney beans
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 1/2 cups chopped celery
- 1 green onion, chopped
Preparation:
Bring the sugar, oil and vinegar to a boil in a saucepan. Let cool.Meanwhile, drain the beans and combine in a large bowl. Add the green pepper, celery and green onion.
Pour the dressing over the beans and vegetables. Toss gently and let marinate overnight in the fridge.
