Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked rice, hot
- 3/4 cups grated cheddar cheese
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp onion, minced
- 1 1/2 tsp mustard
- 4-5 drops Tabasco sauce
- 1 cup corn flake crumbs
- 2 tsp paprika
Preparation:
Combine all ingredients except crumbs and paprika. Chill. Form into small balls using 1 tablespoon mixture for each.Blend crumbs and paprika. Roll balls in crumbs. Deep fat fry at 375 degrees F. until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Drain on absorbent paper.
Makes about 2 1/2 dozen.
