A simple vegetarian "pate" substitute that can be served with crackers at a party or, try it stuffed into grape leaves or button mushrooms. It's not quite the same as "real" pate (purreed liver, usually), but who'd want that anyway? This vegetarian pate uses store-bought vegetarian "chicken" and walnuts for a hearty dish and texture.

Ingredients:
- 1 vegetarian Chicken Free Chicken
- 1/4 cup raw walnuts
- 1 apple, peeled and cored
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp onion
- 1/4 tsp garlic
- 2 tbsp Vegenaise, vegan mayonnaise
- 1/4 tsp celery seed
Preparation:
Into a food processor, place Chicken Free Chicken, and remaining ingredients. Process 10-15 seconds to form paste. Chill well.
Serve pate on crackers, toast wedges or wraps. Makes a delicious grape leaf stuffing.
