Curried Hummus Recipe

Homemade hummus is so easy to make! Add a little variety to your usual hummus recipe by adding some curry spices, and, if you're feeling adventurous, add some spicy jalapeno pepper. This easy curried hummus recipe is both vegetarian and vegan.

Ingredients:

  • 1 15 ounce can chickpeas, drained (garbanzo beans)
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp curry powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/4 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 jalapeno pepper, seeded (optional)
  • dash salt

Preparation:

Process all ingredients in a food processor or blender until smooth.
