An easy citrus salsa recipe with fresh oranges and grapefruits, as well as all the traditional Mexican salsa flavors - tomatoes, jalapenos and fresh cilantro. Ingredients:
- 1 red grapefruit, peeled and diced
- 1 orange, peeled and chopped
- 1 tomato, chopped
- 1 cup diced bell pepper (any color, or a mix of red, yellow and green)
- 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
- 3 tbsp red onion, diced
- 1 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
- 1 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
Preparation:
Combine all the salsa ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Drain juice before serving. Makes about 2 cups of orange and grapefruit salsa. Perfect for summer!
