Easy Citrus Salsa Recipe

An easy citrus salsa recipe with fresh oranges and grapefruits, as well as all the traditional Mexican salsa flavors - tomatoes, jalapenos and fresh cilantro. If you want to try to spice up your salsa, try this easy and creative grapefruit and orange citrus salsa. Recipe courtesy of Texas Sweet Citrus. Ingredients:

  • 1 red grapefruit, peeled and diced
  • 1 orange, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 cup diced bell pepper (any color, or a mix of red, yellow and green)
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
  • 3 tbsp red onion, diced
  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped cilantro
  • 1 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Preparation:

Combine all the salsa ingredients in a medium mixing bowl. Drain juice before serving. Makes about 2 cups.
