Easy Cheese and Wine Fondue Recipe

This is a basic recipe for an easy cheese and wine fondue. You'll find that it is simpler and with less ingredients than other fancier recipes, yet tastes just as great!

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups dry white wine
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (use Swiss or Gruyere)
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp flour
  • bread for dipping

Preparation:

Heat wine in a saucepan over medium heat. Slowly add remaining ingredients, stirring to melt the cheese. When cheese is melted and all ingredients are combined, transfer to a fondue pot. Enjoy!
