Vegan White Bean and Fresh Herb Sandwich Spread or Dip

  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 16 ounce cans Great Northern Beans, rinsed and drained
  • 3 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh thyme
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper


With the motor running, drop the garlic cloves into a food processor or blender. Add Great Northern Beans, lime juice and olive oil; puree until smooth. Add basil, thyme, salt and pepper; pulse until incorporated and the herbs are coarsely chopped. Serve chilled.

I was hesitant to make it but I did! And I didn't regret making it! LOL It was good and I love it! I followed the instructions and it was perfect for a vegan like me!
