Reader Lynn VanCleave emailed me with this homemade vegan tofu ranch dressing that she loves, and gave me permission to share it with you all.
Using tofu to get a thick and creamy consistency keeps this vegan ranch dressing much lower in fat and calories than traditional ranch dressings (which are also loaded with cholesterol!). If a low-fat, low-calorie, vegan and cholesterol-free ranch dressing sounds good to you, try it! Thanks, Lynn!

- 1 carton of silken tofu
- 1-2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. onion powder
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. original Mrs. Dash seasoning
- 2-3 Tbsp. fresh parsley
- 2 tsp sea salt
- enough soy milk for desired consistency
Add all inexpedience together in the blender and mix well. Store in a quart jar in the refrigerator.
