Raw Chimichurri Sauce Recipe

By , About.com Guide

Colin posted this raw foods recipe in the forum. He wrote: "Chimichurri is green sauce that's an absolute must in Argentine cuisine. Many different ingredients can be used according to personal tastes and what is available at the time, but olive oil, vinegar, garlic and herbs are considered essential ingredients when making authentic chimichurri. Argentinians use this sauce as a marinade as well as a condiment, which they spoon generously over many of their dishes."

Ingredients:

  • 120 ml extra virgin olive oil
  • 120ml - Red Wine Vinegar or 90ml - Lemon Juice
