Jicama "Fries"

These jicama "fries" are a bit crunchier than the real thing, but they have a salty flavor and sure do look authentic! This is a raw and living foods recipe suitable for those on a raw food diet.

  • 2 jicamas, sliced into thin strips
  • 1 tbsp cold-pressed olive oil
  • 1 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp chili powder

Better than the real thing., Guest Rose

My fiancÚ and I both love jicama and this recipe gives us a new way to enjoy it. I have shared this recipe with multiple family members, who also love it. Personally, I think these are better than real fries!
