Sugar-free Vegan Chocolate Pie

Sugar-free vegan chocolate pie with brown rice syrup. This sugar-free dessert is sweetened with brown rice syrup instead of sugar, is low in fat and calories, and suitable for those on a vegan diet. Want to make it extra indulgent? Add a generous dollop of peanut butter to the mix.

Ingredients:

  • 1 pre-made sugar-free graham cracker pie crust
  • 2 blocks firm tofu
  • 1 cup brown rice syrup
  • 1/3 cup margarine
  • 1 Tablespoon vanilla
  • 2/3 cup cocoa powder

Preparation:

Process the tofu in a blender or food processor for a minute or two until smooth and creamy. Add the remaining ingredients and combine until fully mixed.

Pour into prepared sugar-free pie crust and chill until firm, about 45 minutes.

Serves 8.
