Pasta with Vegetarian Chik'n and Bacon recipe courtesy of Lightlife Foods.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 pound pasta
- 1 package Smart Strips Chik'n Strips
- 1/2 package Smart Bacon
- 1 1/2 cups broccoli, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 red pepper, sliced in long strips
- 1 small onion, sliced in long strips
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil or cooking spray
- parmesan cheese
Preparation:
In a large skillet, saute broccoli, onion and red pepper in olive oil for 2 minutes. Add garlic and saute 1 minute longer (do not over cook).
Brown Smart Bacon in another skillet until crispy and break into bite-sized pieces. Add Smart Strips Chick'n Strips and Smart Bacon to the saute mixture, cooking just long enough to heat through.
Serve over pasta. Sprinkle with fresh Parmesan Cheese.
