A friend of mine uses this method every Christmas to build “gingerbread” houses. Their youngsters like to use gummi bears as edible characters to enliven graham cracker displays.

Ingredients:
- graham crackers
- pretzels
- frosting or peanut butter
- dried fruit and nuts
Preparation:
Provide children with a variety of pretzels and graham crackers, colored frosting and dried fruit and nuts to use as decoration. Using the frosting as “glue” and the crackers and pretzels as building blocks, kids can assemble whatever their creative minds can imagine.
