Tofu Oat Veggie Burgers

These simple tofu and oat veggie burgers are quick to whip up and are naturally low in fat. This recipe is both vegetarian and vegan.

Ingredients:

  • 1 container firm or extra firm tofu, pressed
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 carrot, grated
  • 2 tbsp instant potato flakes
  • 1 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • oil for frying

Preparation:

Mash together all ingredients until well combined. Form into patties. Fry in oil on both sides until lightly browned.
