Sweet and Sour Soy Vegetarian Chicken Recipe

Sweet and Sour Soy Chicken recipe courtesy of Follow Your Heart Natural Foods

Ingredients:

  • 1 vegetarian Chicken Free Chicken, cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks, with 1/4 cup liquid reserved
  • 1/2 cup red bell peppers, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup onions chopped
  • 1/2 cup celery, thinly sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Braggs Liquid Aminos or soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp corn or potato starch

Preparation:

Stir-fry onions, peppers, celery and garlic, cooking until the onions become translucent. Add Chicken Free Chicken and pineapple chunks. Cook for 1 minute.

Mix starch with reserved pineapple liquid and add to stir-fry. Stir until thickened. Serve over rice or rice noodles.
