If you're looking for a cheap and quick vegetarian or vegan meal, this Quick Flavored Ramen Recipe is what you need. You can toss in a handful of frozen or canned veggies for an extra boost, or just eat this gussied up ramen dish plain. Ingredients:

  • 1 package ramen
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • dash seasoning salt

Preparation:

Boil the ramen noodles in water and drain. Add the olive oil and then the remaining ingredients, stirring well.

Not my taste, Guest Anna

I love ramen and I love the taste of garlic, but combined, I can't get my head around it. I got Maruchan Chicken and used the seasonings. It wasn't horrible and I did eat it all, but I don't plan to recreate it. It may have been because I used the seasoning packet, but I'd rather just stick to my own variations (such as adding an egg or adding a slice of cheese).
