Vegetarian "Chicken" Paprikash Recipe

Vegetarian "Chicken" Paprikash recipe courtesy of Follow Your Heart Natural Foods

Ingredients:

  • 1 vegetarian Chicken Free Chicken, quartered
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 small tomato, sliced
  • 1 small green pepper, sliced
  • 1 15 ounce can vegetable broth (about 1 4/5 cups)
  • 1 tbsp olive or canola oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp sweet paprika, more or less to taste
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 tsp Braggs Liquid Aminos or soy sauce

Preparation:

Into a pot add oil and onions. Sautee onions until brown. Add vegetables, tomato paste, seasonings and broth. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 10 minutes.

Add Chicken Free Chicken, cover and continue to simmer 8 minutes. Serve with rice or noodles.
