Easy Vegan Fudge Recipe

Quick and easy vegan fudge

Who knew vegan fudge could be so delicious - not to mention easy to make! This vegan fudge recipe is deceptively simple, but the end result is absolutely delicious. I can't claim that this recipe is at all healthy, but it sure does taste good! You might also want to try this vegan peanut butter fudge recipe, or this double chocolate vegan fudge recipe.

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Total Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 6 tablespoons vegan margarine
  • 3 1/2 cups powdered (confectioners) sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup soymilk
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Preparation:

Lightly grease a 5x9 inch loaf pan using a little of the vegan margarine.

Place the remaining margarine, sugar, cocoa, vanilla and soy milk in a heatproof mixing bowl or the upper part of a double broiler. Place the bowl or broiler over simmering water and stir until smooth. Add the nuts if desired.

Pour the mixture quickly into the prepared pan. Chill thoroughly and cut into squares.

Makes 2 to 3 dozen squares.

Setup crystallized, Guest Tasha California

I used real butter, almond milk and brown sugar and let it boil for a good 3 minutes. I had no problem with it setting up but the texture is crystallized like maple candy (if you've ever had it) I'll be trying it again with soy milk and pwd white sugar.
