Fruit Dessert Topping

Recipe for a basic fruit reduction sauce. Perfect for desserts or over waffles or pancakes for breakfast.

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • approx 2 cups fresh or frozen fruit (berries, mangos, pineapples or peaches work best)
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp corn starch

Preparation:

Add all ingredients to a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce to a slow simmer, stirring frequently until fruit is softened, about 5-10 minutes. Allow to cool before serving over ice cream, brownies, cheesecake or any other way you can think of!
