  • 1 cup vital wheat gluten
  • approx. 3/4 cup water or broth
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp ginger powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 6 cups broth for cooking
  • 3-4 slices onion (optional)
  • 2-3 pieces fresh ginger (optional)
