Vegetarian Breakfast Burrito with GimmeLean Sausage
Vegetarian breakfast burrito with mock meat sausage
This easy vegetarian breakfast burrito recipe uses Gimme Lean sausage substitute for a meat-like burrito. Try this breakfast burrito with mock meat and eggs for a very filling breakfast and high-protein meal. Scroll down for more vegetarian breakfast burrito recipes to try.   • 1 egg, beaten, or egg substitute
  • 2 tbsp milk, soy milk or rice milk
  • 1 tbsp onion, chopped
  • 1/7 package Gimme Lean Sausage style
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese or soy cheddar
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil or cooking spray
  • 1 flour tortilla


Heat 1 Tbsp. oil or cooking spray in skillet. Add onion and sautee for a minute or two. In a small bowl mix egg with milk and add to skillet with onion. Scramble and set aside.

In another skillet heat the remaining oil (cooking spray) and brown the Gimme Lean Sausage, crumbling it as you stir.

Combine all and place on flour tortilla, sprinkle cheese on top and roll into a burrito. Serve with salsa.
