Fat-free Vegan Fruit Smoothie Recipe

A fruit smoothie is always a quick and healthy breakfast that you can eat on the run, and kids usually like fruit smoothies too. This vegan fruit smoothie recipe is fat-free, made from just four simple ingredients, and sweetened with a touch of maple syrup instead of sugar. Yum!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup chopped frozen banana (about 1 1/2 bananas)
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries or blueberries
  • 1/2 cup apple juice
  • honey or maple syrup (optional)

Preparation:

Combine all ingredients in a blender until smooth. Add a dash of honey or maple syrup if you prefer a sweeter smoothie. Add more or less juice to get the consistency that you prefer.
