Egg-Free Waffle Recipe

These eggless waffles are made with egg replacer instead of eggs, though because they do contain milk, they are not vegan. Try substituting the milk with soy milk, almond milk or even coconut milk. With less fat, eggless waffles tend to be more likely to stick to your waffle iron, so make sure it's well greased.

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup oil
  • 4 tsp Ener-G Egg Replacer
  • 8 tbsp water

Preparation:

Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Stir milk and oil into flour mixture.

In separate bowl beat Egg Replacer with water until foamy (about 30 seconds). Fold the flour mixture into Egg Replacer.

Bake your egg-free waffles in a well-greased medium-hot waffle iron.

Bland and Oily, Guest Kathy

We didn't like these waffles. The had no flavor and came out too crispy and oily. Had to throw it all out. What a waste. Don't bother.
