Banana Bread French Toast Recipe
Kids will love this fun breakfast or brunch idea: French toast made from banana bread! Yum! This simple vegetarian recipe can be a gourmet brunch fit for any special occasion. Just top it off with some strawberry syrup or fresh fruit. If you're never tried it before, here's how to make French toast from banana bread.

Ingredients:

  • 1 loaf banana bread, cut in half-inch slices
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup half & half
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Preparation:

In a bowl, whisk the eggs and add the half & half and cinnamon; mix well.

Gently dip the banana bread into the egg mixture and place on a lightly oiled griddle over medium heat.

Cook on both sides until lightly brown and cooked through.
