It seems like everywhere you turn, someone is talking about quinoa
these days, and, in fact, the bulk bins at my local grocer are frequently running low. They just can't stock it fast enough! There certainly are plenty of reasons to love quinoa,
especially if you're a vegetarian or vegan who needs a good source of plant-based protein.
Ok, so quinoa is a fantastic and healthy trendy new food that we all love. So, what do you actually do with it? Eat it plain? Well, you can - it doesn't taste too bad on it's own with a squeeze of lemon and a touch of seasoning. Use it any way you would use rice - alongside a vegetable stir-fry, add a handful to just about any soup or salad, or make a quinoa pilaf or savory entrée.
