I decided to become a vegan in the month of August, and I can't remember when I decided to be a vegetarian, as it was around twenty years ago (no, I'm not that old, I just went vegetarian at a very young age!), but many people decide to make dietary and lifestyle changes on the first of the new year.
Yes, I'm talking about New Years resolutions! Have you made any resolutions related to vegetarianism or perhaps just eating healthier? Including just a few meatless meals each week can make a huge difference in your health, for the animals
and the health of the planet
. Have fun with your resolutions and get creative! Here's a few ideas:
Try one new vegetarian food or vegetarian restaurant each week
Make a pact with a friend to cook a meatless dinner every Sunday
Make a bet with a friend or family member to see who can stay vegetarian the longest
Try one new raw food recipe each week.
Eat more green leafy vegetables!
Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables
