The curries of Thailand have such a unique taste that once you try one, you'll surely remember it a long time. It's the blend of several spices that goes into a curry paste that lends each curry, whether green, yellow or red, their burst of memorable flavor. Want to try making Thai curry paste from scratch? Here's a few authentic Thai curry paste recipes. Or, try a store-bought curry paste (check the ingredients as some contain shrimp) in one of these simple Thai curries:

  • Green Thai curry Making this homemade green curry with chicken substitute is super easy and simple when using a store-bought green curry paste. If you can't find shallots, use a small garlic clove and a bit of onion powder as a reasonable substitute. Pictured.
  • Red Thai curry For a quick and easy dinner, pair this quick and easy red curry with rice or your favorite whole grain. The vegetables are merely a suggestion, as just about any vegetables will do.
  • Yellow Thai curry No need to use a store-bought or pre-made curry paste in this vegetarian yellow Thai curry, as this yellow curry is seasoned and colored with curry powder, turmeric and chili sauce.
  • More curries from around the world! Experiment with a new world of global flavors by trying out some of these Japanese, Asian and Indian curry recipes. Enjoy!
