It seems like every fall I get a bit of allergies, which manifests as an annoying and lingering cough and my throat drops (I've tried three different kinds!) seem to make it worse, not better. Tea with agave nectar helps to sooth my poor aching throat, and I've really come to love this nourishing ginger tea recipe in particular. It just tastes and feels so good going down and I can almost feel it just giving the ole immune system a boost. Though I've always loved munching pickled ginger with my sushi, I've lately developed a new depth of appreciation for that humble herb, ginger root.
