Vegan chocolate Easter eggs!

Follow me on:

The vegan market of substitute and specialty foods is ever expanding. First it was vegan caviar. Then vegetarian black pudding (umm, yay?) and vegetarian scrapple (again, not our most shining moment, as a community). The latest (and very welcome!) addition to the ever-growing list of vegan foods is vegan chocolate Easter eggs, filled with a vegan chocolate cream. That's got to be better than scrapple. They're a bit pricey, but they're made by a company called Rescue Chocolate, which donates all of it's net profits to animal rescue organizations. So go ahead, splurge, and try to convince your accountant you can use it as a tax deduction.

Rescue Chocolate also makes dairy-free vegan chocolate shaped like Matzo, just in case you ever find yourself needing that, too. It's kosher for passover, of course.
