Super Bowl recipes from around the world!

Thursday January 17, 2008
Welcome to About.com's Super Bowl Appetizer Exchange! For the next week or two, I'll be sharing with you some fabulous vegetarian finger foods, casual munchies and appetizers for you to make in preparation for your game day Super Bowl party. Today's recipe is from Greece, and About.com's guide to Greek food, Nancy.

Traditional Greek Tzatziki (pictured)
This classic combination of thick yogurt, cucumber, garlic, and herbs is a versatile addition to any table. Serve tzatziki as a dip with fresh veggies, bread, or crackers or as a spread on sandwiches. Nancy says, "Tzatziki is traditionally served as an appetizer and can be left on the table as an accompaniment to foods throughout the meal. The key to great tzatziki is the thick creamy texture that allows it to be eaten alone, as a dip, as a spread, and as a condiment." You might also want to try this vegan tzatziki recipe. Enjoy!
