Cookies for Christmas

Monday December 18, 2006
It's time to warm up your oven for the holiday baking season! Homemade cookies make a wonderful gift for neighbors, coworkers and friends. Prepare several different kinds, and wrap up in festive colors on a decorative plate. Here are a few of my favorite recipes for cookies and other sweet treats.

Chocolate haystacks
These chocolate crunchy candies will be a real hit with the kids!

Easy Vegan Fudge
Who knew vegan fudge could be so delicious - not to mention easy to make! This recipe is deceptively simple, but the end result is absolutely delicious. I can't claim that this recipe is at all healthy, but it sure does taste good!

Coconut Date Macaroons
If you've got a food processor, this sugar-free vegan macaroon recipe takes just a few minutes to make, since it only has three ingredients.

Oatmeal and Cranberry Cookies
This vegan recipe for spiced oatmeal cranberry cookies is thick and chewy, just the way oatmeal cookies should be!
